you don't even know how much trouble I went to watch DW tonight and I STILL COULDN'T FINISH THE EPISODE. I got like 30-something minutes in?? but yeah people on this site hype the sadness up so much that it freaks me out. all I really want is for amy and rory to die together. that is all I need. and I know you wouldn't be saddened by it at all though b/c you don't even care about amy and rory. Yeah, and while Ianto spends a lot of time being all “pfffffffffft he can flirt with anyone he wants, I don’t care as long as we’re still together,” a good deal of it is bullshit tbh. He doesn’t want to be with someone who treats him as an afterthought or a default option, but he doesn’t seem to know what else to do. It’s sucky. I just think Ianto deserved to be with someone who loved him in the same way he did them: solely, without being one in a long line. And with Jack, that’s all anyone could ever be.

For a while it was hard for me to ship them because I was just… so… embittered over how everyone ended up with the wrong person in the end, and how it was all contrived and so forth, but then eventually I came to realize that just because they aren’t my biggest ship in the series doesn’t mean I can’t still like them. SO YEAH.
