I was looking at the notes for this last night and thought “man I wonder if Cara is going to end up reblogging this one too, ha”

but it’s always less amusing when it actually happens because then I just feel overwhelmed OTL

Review of the Remus Lupin Blend

I’ve just brewed my first cup of Remus Lupin tea from Adagio. Here I will detail my step-by-step process and reactions.

• Sighed when opening the bag. Scooped a heaping teaspoonful of leaves into my ingenuiTEA teapot and waited for my water to come to a boil.
• Steeped for four minutes while cleaning the kitchen counter (due to my earlier shenanigans involving fresh tomato basil sauce).
• Drooled a bit in anticipation.
• Tried a sip. Added a spoonful of sugar.
• Died.
• 

This is just… a really gorgeous tea. The chai flavor lingers on the tongue. At first I wasn’t quite sure what it reminded me of, then I realized: You know that spicy chocolate they sell at Moonstruck? (Side note: Moonstruck is probably tied with Godiva for my favorite overpriced chocolate brand.) It’s reminiscent of that, but with less of a kick. And there’s an undertone under the initially smooth taste that makes me think of apples and smoked wood.

I swear, this blend should be its own form of therapy. I feel completely relaxed now, though the disappointment of having finished a cup of tea and realizing there isn’t any more left in the mug is starting to set in. But it was worth it. I’m happy to say that everything about this tea is fantastic, and it really does my favorite character justice. :)

I was about to say I’ll review one of the others tomorrow, but it’s going to be 90-some degrees, so unless our AC is really cranked up I probably won’t be in much of a tea-drinking mood! I may try one tonight, though. We’ll see.
